I heard about a prepaid card similar to phone cards for my new laptop? Help! ?
you only need a wireless router CNET.COM has reviews and can save you time in choosing what will work for you. i went with the Pre N has distance and covers all the speeds for old and new devices i have price was under 100. routers start around 20 and go up around 300 it all depends what you want. the existing internet cable modem or whatever your provider gave you connects to trouter then desktop does as well as printer etc... the laptop will connect via wireless which on most is easy to set up. be sure to network so your desktop and laptop can transfer files when you need it.
Reply:You can use your existing internet connection for both Desktop and laptop at the same time but u need some additional hardware which is not so expensive these days You need a wireless access point. but you don't need any additional hardware on your laptop.

hope this helps

Do phone cards work with any phone?

Not just prepaid phones?

Do phone cards work with any phone?
Typically, Yes.

"Phone Card" is really just a term used to identify a type of long-distance calling service access.

Phone Cards are really a variation on "dial-around" long distance services, in which you by-pass your local long-distance carrier. Dial-around and Calling Card services usually offer substantially lower rates than your default long distance carrier.

Typically, to initiate calls through your Calling Card service, they provide you with an "access number". If the Access Number is in your local calling area code, it is usually a free call to the long-distance "gateway". Once in the gateway, you are then charged by the calling card carrier at their agreed upon rates. So, it doesn't matter if you call from home, work, cell, or payphone, or a 1-800 access number, your call will generally go through your calling card carrier.

But, of course be careful when doing this from cells and pay-phones. You still pay for the cellphone air time and the payphone local calling charges.
Reply:Read what is indicated on the back of the card, it should tell you if you can use it on any phone.

Can i switch sim cards with another phone?

My phone is a motorola v170 and the phone i want to switch with is a nokia 6010 the sim card fits but when i turn it on it asks for a pin code how do i figure out what the pin code is?

Can i switch sim cards with another phone?
most likely your nokia 6010 is 'locked' to the previous provider, you need to unlock first

try to unlock here: http://unlock.nokiafree.org/
Reply:It is either a PIN which you set on your old phone, but maybe you forgot it. If not that, then get in touch with Motorola and ask them what the PIN is on your old sim.

It sounds like you are trying to get free minutes. You might like www.PhoneHog.com. It's a website that lets you earn free long distance minutes, just like a phone card.

I'm in california... is there anyway to find out how i can start selling phone cards to store merchants?

There's plenty of whole sale places you can buy phone cards from. here is one: http://speedypin.com/phone/card/wholesal...

As a side note you can also sell Prepaid Long Distance service through this service with no money outlay (unlike the phone cards in bulk) www.tel3advantage.com/?AgentNumber=43835...

This will provide you with on going residual income.

they run at 21 cents per minute.
Reply:Check http://www.eecalling.com, some of the cards don't have Maintenance Fee, some have, and Rounding minutes the lower the better, all depends on how you used the cards.

you can buy your card anywhere at any time, you get the PIN NO. instantly after you paid.

Reply:A world phone card will work
Reply:I don't think so. If you buy US cards, they will work only in the US
Reply:hey sunflowers i have no idea i dont like to use phone cards but all of my friends are in the USA

sorry that i dont know GOOD LUCK FINDING OUT :)
Reply:Hi Sunflower. Not all of them will work. I think its actually less expensive to call her from the USA. The rates are much better. You should check rates on a couple of websites before making a decision. If you are unsure of what questions to ask prior to buying a card, try a search for phone card tips on your favorite search engine. Before I purchased my first phone card, I found some good tips at a website called SpeedyPin. I'm sure there are others, but this satisfied my questions.
Reply:No Dont Think So.. she wil have to purchase them in Iraq.. But check first.
