How do ( Cell ) phone cards work?

they are the best thing since the invention of the wheel...!!! my tracphone is 3 yrs old and it works very well for me......you purchase the card of how ever many minutes you guess that you will be using in your situation...mine is only used for my purpose and i try to eliminate giving out my cell # cuz incoming calls are deducted from my paid minutes,but at least you know many mins you have left .some hightime cards gives you a year before you have to renew,and you keep mins that have not been used and are added to your next purchase...the only thing i dont like about the cards is that you are the one that has to make the call to the tracphone co. to add your time and mins.after the purchase is made.....like 20 mins on the land line phone.!! tjhey also give you specials for added mins.like birthday bonus time ...usually 100 free mins,but you must call them to get it added or installed other than that im satisfied and no bills will i ever see in the mail.......so its 1. buy the phone ....usually comes w/ free mins. ....2 before the mins. run out purchase another card...3. call the tracphone co. to get mins. added.......oh yea dont forget the phone most always comes w/ bonus coupons that add mins for free.!!! you cant beat it and you arealways in control. .....end of message

I have had a Trac phone for over a year now and i LOVE it....You just buy the phone at Wal-Mart for $20.00...It comes with 10 free minutes but you will want to buy another card (At Wal-Mart) They scan the card when you buy it, You take it home and you can either call the number on the card or put the minutes on the phone online....Online is much easier than calling them, It takes about 5 minutes online, Than just toss the card away.....Your new minutes are good for 2 months, If you start running low on minutes before your 2 months are up, Just go buy another card and put the minutes on it....It's very easy and the phone picks up signals for along ways, and NO credit checks........I love it because there are NO contracts, you pay as you go with no monthly bills.......Get one, try it....I'm sure you will love it too...
