My phone went in the bayou. I got a different Sim card and a new phone I bought on eBay. How do I get my same number (from a contract) to a different Sim card?

Hmmm... To remove your phone number into a new SIM card, then you might need to ask your service provider, to ask if they can do that. See if they can reprogrammed their network to accept the new SIM card, so that you can use the old phone number but using a new SIM card.








However the usual policy for keeping the old phone number incase a missing SIM card, is for the service provider to issue a new SIM card to replace the old missing one. So I suggest you contact them, to see if you can get a new SIM card with your old phone number.





You might need some identification to prove them that you are really the owner of your old phone number.
