I have been using Telstra in the Brisbane area, but they required me to disclosed some personal information to activate a prepaid sim card. Which mobile phone companies in the Brisbane area do NOT require any personal information, or at least requires only the minimal amount of it?

I know vodaphone doesnt, a friend of mine went into big w to get the $2 sim and all she had to do was activate it and top up the money, thats about the only one i think

Reply:I think the law requires all companies to collect Identification info now. It's the old "terrorism" scare tactic.
