Cell Phone Cards?

I have a kind of crappy phone and my friend has this really nice phone. He's buying a new one pretty soon and doesn't need the old one. We both have at%26amp;t and existing service plans. would it be possible to just switch the cards in our cell phone and me put my card in his old one and he put his card in his new phone? sorry if its confusing

technically ... the switch should work.





the cell companies just lock the provider, i.e. the phone will work with a card from a particular vendor only. i assume the new phone your friend is getting is from at%26amp;t as well, then you people shouldn't have a problem. but why dont you just switch the cards %26amp; see?
