Where can I donate prepaid phone cards?
A really good place to donate almost anything is to the troops. They send lots of things over to them. Got to be hard to be so far from home so anything to help comfort them. For instance I bought a lot of Girl Scout Cookies and instead of having them brought to me when they came in I just paid and they put them in packages for soldiers in Iraq. Just an idea. ;)
Reply:I agree with the the idea of helping out with soldiers in Iraq. Anything that can help lesson the burden on the families of these guys and helps them stay in touch is a good one.





Try contacting the various VFW halls around your area and see if they know anyone in the local area that is doing this. That way you avoid any middle men and the cards would end up in the hands of the families without anyone taking a piece.

Reply:Ronald McDonald house uses prepaid phone cards. Lots of times the parents do not have a cell phone and can't call their families to let them know how the child is doing. They get phone cards so they can call home.
