Which is the best value phone card to buy in the US to phone UK? and where to buy them please?

My daughter is in Fort Lauderdale (near Hollywood) and cannot find a low cost phone card to allow her to phone us back here in the US. One that she did buy gave her about 1 minute for $10. Maybe the phone was faulty. I would be grateful for any advice on good cards and where they can be bought.

Reply:I think that the best answer is the web, you can find many many products but with a good and competitive rate.





But you have to be careful sometimes, when websites offer very low rates they will take off your minutes with hidden fees or taxes, and they will eat up your minutes, but the best calling cards to choose are the clean ones, they usually offer a higher rate but they will guarantee that your minutes will be there when ever you need them.





You may go to www.viapin.com, and try the mega clean card, that offers a clean rate of 1.7¢ per minute to call UK land line

1) first your daughter may go to any larger store (like Walmart) in the area and buy their a calling card (physical plastic)


2) YOU may buy her a calling card on the Internet. After you pay you will get two pieces of information in the email: access number and PIN. You can pass it to your daughter and she would be able to call you. Internet rates are much lower. Two companies you may consider
