Can I use Sprint/Nextel sim cards in a phone that's using Cingular sim card right now?

I heard that the Motorola i265 uses a sim card, I'm wondering if it's the same card as a quad band gsm phone uses...

Can I use Sprint/Nextel sim cards in a phone that's using Cingular sim card right now?
No, you can't. Even if you were to get the phone unlocked, it wouldn't work. Nextel uses iDEN technology, while Cingular uses GSM technology. Even though they both use sim cards, they are completely different technologies. An iDEN phone will ONLY work with a privider that uses iDEN technology. GSM phones will only work with providers that use GSM technologies.
Reply:No sorry you cant..Nextel is ran on IDEN tower..and Cingular is GSM technology...the Nextel phones will not support Cingular Sims or vise versa
