Okay, im currently using Cingular (now the new At%26amp;t) and my Motorola RAZR recently fell into water. Now it doesn't work from what I know, and I was wondering if I can take the SIM card from the RAZR and put it onto my Samsung phone which is also from Cingular. Will it work, and will it do damage to the other phone by any harms?
Changing sim cards from one cell phone to another?
No. All you can do is try and see if the card still works. As long as it didnt get fried then it should work. Give it a try, it won't hurt your Samsung at all. Good luck!
Reply:yes you can as switch the sim, if you can make/receive calls, then it's ok. if you get a sim error then your card may have been damaged. usually you can get your sim card wet and it will be ok to use it.
Reply:If it is fine, it will definitely work on your other Cingular phone. It cannot damage your Samsung phone, so you should put in the SIM and try it. If it does not work, then the problem is that the SIM card may have gotten damaged in the water, but the problem will not be because of any phone compatibility issues.
